Microcement

Microcement, unlike other materials, creates a modern seamless tactile feel with a simple and elegant look that will satisfy even the most demanding of clients.

This versatile material can be finished with a range of different textures to floors, walls and joinery items.

Choose between:

  • A smooth polished finish with marbling effects
  • A smooth finish with a medium textured finish
  • A distressed concrete look with open texture

Microcement is available in a wide range of colours, textures and finishes, each one handcrafted to provide an individual and completely personal result.

Microcement has gained popularity due to its flexibility and minimal thickness which allow it to adapt to any type of surface: horizontal or vertical.

Its finish is elegant and minimalist, creating highly decorative marbling effects, capable of embellishing any room. In addition, microcement is the new material of choice for designers and it is popping up in retail stores, trendy restaurants, offices and homes all across the UK.

How long does it take to install microcement flooring?

Microcement is applied seamlessly by hand trowel, which means it isn't a quick process. We'll be on site for a full 7 to 14 days depending on the size of the floor. The microcement will be very susceptible to staining or marking until the sealers are applied at the end of the process, so during that time, we'll need the area completely to ourselves.

What surfaces are microcement suitable for?

Microcement is amazingly versatile with fantastic adherence properties, it can be applied seamlessly onto pretty much any surface. We regularly microcement onto screeds, concrete, self-levellers, floor grade ply, floor grade OSB boards and cement board. We just ask that you and your contractors follow the Surface Preparation Guidelines to avoid any extra costs or delays.
